We are students of
ChOkyi Nyima Rinpoche
in the Eastern United States
and Canada.

Some of us attend Rinpoche's teachings in the U.S., Europe,
and Asia, some of us attend teachings at the various Gomdes,
some of us study the Tara's Triple Excellence program
online at, and some of us study or have studied
in person or online at Rangjung Yeshe Institute in Kathmandu,
Nepal. Originally called Rangjung Yeshe New York, we have changed
our name to Dharma House NYC to reflect Rinpoche's direction to
us to establish a Dharma House in New York City. We are happy to realize
Rinpoche's aspirations by practicing together in person or online.
This is where we post upcoming events that may be of interest to
members as well as various meeting and practice times in this
area, and soon, news about a physical home for Dharma House New York.

Rinpoche's activities are wide: Click here for a good directory and visit the
websites of the various Gomdes around the world

Mantra Accumulation for World Peace

Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche has requested that the sangha perform the sadhana of Shakyamuni Buddha, called "A Treasury of Blessings,"  for the sake of world peace. All of us around the world can use the form at the bottom of this page to track the number of mantras recited in the course of practicing the sadhana.

Rinpoche stated a goal of one million mantras. We have surpassed that goal, and are now aiming our sights at 10 million!

Note: We've been taught that one should always practice the sadhana before performing mantras to be added to the count here. Click here for more information on our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Here are resources to get you started with the sadhana:
