Mantra Accumulation Morning Session - July24 online!

As an offering to Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, our extended sangha has been performing the sadhana of Shakyamuni Buddha, called "A Treasury of Blessings," for the sake of all victims of the April and May 2015 earthquakes in Nepal.

Rinpoche set a goal of accumulating one million Shakyamuni Buddha mantras!

Join us, the Rangjung Yeshe Study and Practice Group-East, live, online or in person, on July 16 as we practice together to accumulate ONE MILLION MANTRAS!

Complete details and instructions can be found here. We'll be posting updates to that page so check back before the actual sessions for more info.

Recitations will be led by Tulku Sherdor of Blazing Wisdom Institute, chanting in Tibetan for each section of the practice, followed by English for that same section.

If you wish to join the sadhana practice in person at Blazing Wisdom, you MUST email: office@blazingwisdom.org in advance, for more information.

Our goal is to offer Rinpoche a report of one million completed mantras when he returns to Garrison Institute in New York State in August 2016.

Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche's Dzogchen Retreat at Garrison - Aug 26-31

Knowing the Nature of Mind

The Buddha teaches us that we each possess, as our true nature, a pure, all-encompassing wisdom far more profound than we can possibly imagine. Through the practice of Dzogchen, we can come to recognize the unimpeded nature of our own mind and embody our innate compassionate essence. The purpose of the retreat, designed for both beginners and advanced practitioners, is to introduce us to this natural state that has, in fact, always been with us. Rinpoche will then impart simple, yet powerful, guidance that will allow us to train, step by step, in unfolding our innate essence. The Garrison Institute provides a perfect setting for this intensive Dzogchen meditation retreat which will allow retreat participants to be able to bring this practice to life in their everyday experience.
